The house was built in 1840, where Grandma Vasiliki lived and grew up. It was constructed with stone from Mount Attavyros, which in those days was transported by horses or donkeys. Our initial goal was to preserve the building’s architecture and some items from that era, such as the plate rack, curtain rods, and some wood that we used to create the nightstands, bathroom counter, and various other decorative elements. Our aim is to offer high-quality services and moments of relaxation in this traditional village.
We are Vasilis and Vasiliki, a couple with years of experience in the tourism industry. Vasilis is a graduate of the Rhodes School of Tourism and has served as a hotel manager in several establishments, bringing extensive expertise in hospitality. Vasiliki, a graduate of a tourism vocational school, has worked at the airport, hotels, and travel agencies, gaining a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations. Our decision to create Anassa Mountain House is built on our years of experience and a passion for hospitality. The property itself was crafted with love, deeply rooted in our family heritage and local traditions. This isn’t just a business for us—it’s a reflection of our love for the area and our desire to share it with others. Our goal is to offer a space where guests can unwind, feel at home, and enjoy an unforgettable experience. With attention to detail and a commitment to making every guest feel welcome, we hope that your stay at Anassa Mountain House will be a memorable escape from everyday life.
